More Than Music.
African music has always been world-class. The infrastructure around it hasn't been.
African music deserves African infrastructure.
Not a workaround. Not a compromise. A platform built with the realities of this market in mind — the artists, the listeners, the culture, the connectivity.
We believe independent artists should be able to upload their music, build a real fanbase, and earn from every stream — without signing away their rights or waiting for someone to discover them.
The best music coming out of this continent isn't being heard loudly enough. That's the problem we're here to solve.
Built in Namibia. Streaming across Africa.
DONLU Africa launched in 2018 out of Windhoek. Namibia was not an obvious place to build a streaming platform. No major label presence. No obvious investor appetite. A small market by most measures.
But that was exactly the point.
If we could build something that worked here — we could build something that worked anywhere on the continent.
Namibia first. Africa wide. That vision hasn't changed. What's changed is the scale.

This is where African music lives — not as a playlist someone curated for you, but as a living community of artists making music right now, from your city, for your world.
